A stunning location with a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy the best food and drink with friends and families. With lots of entertainment, from top chefs to live music and food challenges, kid’s entertainment and a huge range of food and drink on offer to enjoy and to take home. All this at a stunning stately home or country hall. It is held in 9 different locations each year; all locations are spectacular. There are several known chefs doing demos where they cook in front of a crowd. Top chefs and bakers from past Great British Bake-Off series and from the best local restaurants showing off their skills and making some wonderful dishes on stage. While cooking up a dish or two the chefs will be offering advice and tips to recreate your own perfect dishes. Dogs are welcome to come along too as long as they are well behaved and are on a lead. Dogs also enjoy places with lots going on as well so don’t leave them out. Dogs are not allowed in the marquees are food stands for hygiene reasons. There are dog shows hosted for the children by the entertainer. Entertainment for the kids doesn’t stop there, a free kid’s circus is available where you can learn how to ride a unicycle or spin some plates or even walk on stilts there is also much more fun to be had a the circus. There are cookery classes for the little ones costing just £3.50 where they will learn to bake by the greats. Next is many peoples favourite part of the day, the challenge stage. In this stage there will be a series of challenges to be won the best of course being the chilli challenge:- £5 to enter – all money to charity 2. Competitors must eat the whole chilli (excluding the stalk) or chilli cracker 3. If you are sick or take a drink, then you are out 4. Chilli heat raises through the rounds 5. If no clear winner then we go to a speed chilli challenge where the remaining competitors have to drink a cup of hot sauce, the fastest wins.
