Leeds festival is on the same bank holiday weekend every year in august. Leeds festival is twinned with reading festival meaning that they share the same weekend and the same exact line up to as they are run by the same people. If they wanted to combine the two festivals, it would be hard, they would need to change venue as neither of the current venues can hold both audiences combined together. Leeds festival is held in Bramham Park near Wetherby. The festival started in 1999 and saw the likes of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blur, The Charlatans and many more.
Leeds Festival is commonly known for its very own Relentless stage out of the two festivals Leeds is the only one with this stage. The stage is in a valley surrounded by trees. Relentless stage is for DJ’s as the stage is basically an outdoor rave stage, and has seen the likes of DJ EZ, Solardo, Jackmaster, Andy C, Hannah Wants, Jaguar Skills and so many more The Relentless stage can hold a capacity of over 15 thousand people and will always fill out so if you’re going secure your spot early as after 12pm it will be packed.
This year’s festival was amazing and acts as big as Eminem, Liam Gallagher and Muse played. Many who saw Eminem will never have the opportunity to see him live again as he is American and rarely does UK Shows, which explains why the Sunday of the Festival (when Eminem played) was completely sold out and extremely busy.
