Glastonbury
Glastonbury is one of the many festivals in which our structures were used in fact one of our Extreme 50 Instant shelters was used as a stand shelling novelty hats, masks, wigs and many other fancy-dress items. As a retailer of instant shelters and marquees we are glad to see our structures up to good use.Glastonbury has been going for 47 years and was first opened in 1970 and only had an attendance of 1,500 people compared to today’s figures of 153,000 people. Also in 1970 ticket prices were just £1 and you got free milk on arrival today a ticket costs £225 with no milk. Unfortunately, Glastonbury won’t be on this year for the first time since it opened due to letting all the grass regrow.Glastonbury is the biggest festival in the UK and has the widest variety of music from Liam Gallagher to Boy Better Know to Katy Perry these are just 3 of the many dissimilar music acts of Glastonbury 2017. It is done this way so that there is something for everyone on the line up.Something that surprised everyone this year was a secret guest. This is bound to excite most people as a well-known artist may well walk out onto the stage, well it was more than that, The Killers walked out on stage to perform a secret set. It has been said that one of the most memorable parts of Glastonbury 2017 was seeing Liam Gallagher play ‘don’t look back in anger’ for all the people who lost their lives in Grenfell Tower and for the people who suffered from the recent terror attacks.
